FAITH THAT GROWS
LOVE THAT SHOWS
Everyone is a child of God. God loves and cares for everyone. That is why we are all family! At the Northbrook Seventh-day Adventist church, we are fellow believers and followers of Jesus Christ. Our congregation is diverse, coming from every walk of life and many different world cultures. We embrace this diversity and consider it one of our church's strengths.
A church isn't a building, but it's the group of believers. We come together as a family to praise God and to fulfill His mission for us which is to spread the good news of the Gospel for all who desperately need it! We would love for you to be part of this wonderful family.
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about who we are, what we believe, and how you can get to know and join us! And we hope that the content encourages and enlightens you as you find ways to connect with our Lord and Savior. Jesus started a movement. Join us, as we continue the movement!

VALUES
Family
We are children of God, uplifting biblical family values. As brothers and sisters, we value each other and will do anything and everything to preserve healthy relationships. We invest our resources to meet each others spiritual and physical needs so that we may grow to the full stature of Jesus Christ. We are family! Excellence
Everything we do, we neither do for us, nor for our members, but for the glory of God. Our work is an outward expression of the unseen inward character. If truly the Holy Spirit dwells within us, our work will reflect the fruits of the Spirit. Growth
Spiritual growth and numerical growth are key to the sustainability of the church. If we are to reach the whole world, we ought to be growing in our relationship with God as well as in number. We strive to reach the whole world with the good news of Jesus starting with our circle of influence. |
Service
From the eldest to the youngest, we are all significant and work together as parts of one body. Each member has a role to play and everyone is encouraged and empowered to contribute to the whole, making good use of their spiritual gifts and talents to edify others and for the glory of God. Faithfulness
We are stewards of God’s gifts including God’s truth, time, talents, money etc. As such, God blesses us only as we are faithful in the things that have been entrusted to us. We practice what we preach! Inclusive
We welcome all people to come as they are. |
