The Northbrook SDA Church has it's origins in Wilmette in the 1930's when two nurses, Mildred Belden and Mildred Knowles, started a branch Sabbath School in their treatment rooms.
By 1980, that eventually grew to the size where a church was required to hold all the those who attended.
On July 19, 1980, the Northbrook SDA Church was fully constructed and dedicated by Everett Cumbo, the Illinois Conference president.

In the 90's the church grew as a center of spiritual growth in the community. The church saw more and more diversity in it's congregation as God's children originally from all around the world came the the Northbrook church to worship our God.
Today, the Northbrook SDA Church remains as a place of spiritual growth in the community. We are blessed to still have a diverse group of members and visitors with over 20 countries represented in the congregation to worship our God.
